Near-Bit Gamma Measurement System
The Near-Bit Gamma Measurement System consists of a measurement sub placed directly behind the bit, which collects real-time inclination and azimuthal gamma ray data at the bit, and wirelessly transmits it via electromagnetic communication to a receiver sub located above the motor, which then seamlessly transmits data through MWD to surface.
